La Danse Workshop provides quality instruction in the dance arts. Emphasis is placed on the development of poise, perception, coordination, and discipline in an enjoyable environment. We offer classes in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, modern, Irish, acrobatics, and musical theater. Classes are available at our Hilton and Spencerport studios for ages 1.5 to adult.

NEW! Nurtured Motion Class
Join us for joyful baby dance time! Caregivers and babies form meaningful social and emotional connections as they dance together and with others. We explore dance concepts, use multi-sensory props and instruments, sing nursery rhymes, and move to a variety of music. Caregivers hold their babies to help them feel the movement and music. This class includes fun, developmentally appropriate movements for babies’ developing bodies and brains! Kristen Smiarowski is the instructor for this wonderful class. |

Grown-up & Me
A perfect introduction to dance for our tiniest movers! This joyful class is designed for toddlers ages 1.5-2.5 and their grown-ups to explore movement together in a fun, nurturing environment. |

Celebrating 30 years of dance
Trichia Bertino is celebrating 30 years as Owner and Artistic Director of La Danse Workshop. The studio has blossomed and grown over the years to include locations in Spencerport and Hilton, as well as the Ashford Dance Company in Rochester, which she became the owner of in 2022. Read more...
